He currently serves on the Kili FM stereo radio station in Moshi, Kilimanjaro. He is serving there as a second installment after leaving there in 2013. In his current role he started on April 23,2019 during the Kili Breakfast Show with fellow presenter Zuhura Hussein who is currently absent.
He has been known in the air by the name of Johnson Jabir and his popular slogan 'Pamoja kwa Umoja.'
He is the third of five children born to Elder Mking'imle's family. He graduated from secondary school in 2005.
By August 2006 he joined the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) for a Fine and Performing Arts degree but was unable to complete the course.
