Dreams come true

Jabir Johnson in Lake Victoria, source of River Nile at Nansio, Ukerewe on May 21, 2016
ACCORDING to Britannica Enclcyopedia Lake Victoria, also called Victoria Nyanza is the largest lake in Africa and chief reservoir of the Nile, lying mainly in Tanzania and Uganda but bordering on Kenya.

It was my dream one to touch this amazing source of longest river in Africa, River Nile.
The dream came true on May 2016 during coverage of Rural Electrical Agency (REA) activities I touch the wonderful fresh water.

Lake Victoria covers the area is 26,828 square miles (69,484 square km). Among the freshwater lakes of the world, it is exceeded in size only by Lake Superior in North America.

It is an irregular quadrilateral in shape, and its shores, save on the west, are deeply indented. Its greatest length from north to south is 210 miles (337 km), its greatest breadth 150 miles (240 km). Its coastline exceeds 2,000 miles (3,220 km).

My take, is better for the government and the citizens continue taking care of the lake, is a great tourists attraction for the better future of the nation.

All photos were taken in very famous island at Nansio, Ukerewe  by Ceasar Mwakisopile on May 21, 2016.
