The journey is not over

A dream of 32 years has come true on September 22, 2022, the day I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, (a unique, tall mountain in Africa and the world in general).

I give my sincere thanks to the One who made the heavens and the earth and all that is in them, brothers, relatives and friends who were involved directly or in one way or another.

To name some of them my sister Lamla, my friend Kija Elias and her family, Issa wa Urembo and her family, Shayo wa Memorial and her family, Hilaria and her family, Mzee Hamis, Ramadhani wa Bendera, Bethel Hair Palour, Hamis Mgonja (Gaga ) and his family and many others who with their hearts have always wished me well in the movement of this life.

All this is for the glory of the One who made Heaven and Earth. The journey is not over.

NOTE:

Kilimanjaro is a snow-covered mountain 19,710 feet high, and is said to be the highest mountain in Africa. Its western summit is called the Masai 'Ngaje Ngai', the House of God.

Close to the western summit there is a dried and frozen carcas of a leopard. No one has explained what the leopard was seeking at that altitude. Kilimanjaro is a pretty tricky climb you know, most of it's up until you reach the very very top, and then it tends to slope away rather sharply.
